Paediatric Outpatients Clinics
Tuesday morning
Appointments for CF clinic are dependent upon infection status. Patients are divided by Pseudomonas (growers) and non Pseudomonas (non growers)
It is important that appointment times are kept to as much as possible as these are allocated to ensure that patients do not come into contact with each other.During the clinic you may be seen by various members of the CF team individually. Therefore clinic can take between 1 – 2 hours.
To prepare children and families for the transition to adult care the adult team will attend some of the paediatric CF appointments of those over 13 years old.
Joint CF and diabetic clinics take place every 4 months. Your child will be seen by the CF team plus a paediatric diabetologist and paediatric diabetes nurse.

The children are usually seen by the CF team members as a whole, to help the discussion process.
